eople actually eat too much which can lead to weight gain and other health problems. On the average, you should consume at least 4 to 6 servings of fruit on a daily basis, however, a serving may not be what you think it is. The following each count as 1 serving of fruit:

-1/2 cup of fresh, canned, or frozen fruit (i.e. canned pineapples or peaches)

-1/2 cup of fruit juice (i.e. 100% cranberry or grape juice)

-1 SMALL whole fruit (i.e. the size of a tangerine or plum)

-1/4 cup dried fruit (i.e. raisins or Craisins)
